Ingredients
- Bone-In Chicken Thighs (Avg. 1 lb)
- (1–3 tbsp) chili paste or Sriracha (adjust for desired heat)
- (4 tbsp) tamari, soy sauce, or coconut aminos
- (1 tsp) sesame oil
- (4 cloves) garlic, finely minced
- (2 tbsp) fresh ginger, finely minced
Directions
1. Marinate: In a bowl, whisk together the honey, chili paste, soy sauce (or alternative), sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Add the chicken thighs, coating them thoroughly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours (up to 2 days).
2. Prep: Preheat your oven to 425°F and line an 8x11-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
3. Bake: Arrange the marinated chicken thighs in the prepared dish. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. (Optional: Broil for a minute or two at the end for extra color, watching carefully to ensure the parchment paper does not scorch.)
4. Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve hot alongside rice or your favorite sides.
